Dr. J Graphics Studio

Why the Doctor? Well my title was given to me many years ago while in college studying to be a paramedic. Someone named me Dr. J and title just stuck.

I was inspired at an early age by what they now call bronze age comics and Walt Disney classic animation. Every teacher I had commented that I was always drawing in class. I went to the Florida State University in 1985 and was introduced to the Mac Plus. This was an amazing computer - I could actually draw or image a photograph on a cpu screen. Now that I look back - it was more of an etch-a-sketch than an actual image, but it changed my life and started my career as a Graphic Designer.

 I have won many awards - Gold Addys, Silver addys, Image Awards, and a Davis Productivity award with the state. The funny thing is; I have never put in for an award for myself. They were all put in by co-workers or clients who thought enough of my work to enter it into shows.

I am an avid outdoorsman. I love to go camping, boating, fishing, and anything to do with the great outdoors. I find peace and inspiration in nature's vistas.
